The event featured a salon-style conversation, What does it mean to catalyze culture? with our special guest Paula Marincola, executive director at The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, and hosted by Christina Bevilacqua, salonière and director of programs and public engagement at the Providence Athenaeum. We launched the new Catalyzing Newport website and announced the Visiting Catalysts program, which will bring national and international experts to Newport to lead interactive programming with the goals of generating meaningful community dialogue and action.
